Manufacture and composition
Sodasan organic vegetable oil soaps are manufactured from various vegetable oils such as palm kernel oil, palm oil or sunflower oil. All oils come from controlled biological cultivation.. After the saponification process, depending on the variety, specific essential oils, organic shea butter or organic olive oil, vegetable dyes and pigments are added to the raw soaps. Sodasan organic soaps are free of synthetic colors, fragrances and preservatives as well as animal fats. The entire production of soaps is under the control of recognized, independent institutions such as ECOCERT.

Qualitative Characteristics
Sodasan organic vegetable oil soaps are mild cleansing products for daily use owing to their herbal raw materials. The selected essential oils give the soap its harmonious, distinctive scent. High-quality raw materials such as organic Shea butter or olive oil are said to have a special skin-care quality and prevent dry skin. Sodasan organic vegetable oil soaps are also ideal for sensitive skin. Naturally all soaps are dermatologically tested and are vegan.

Social aspects
The use of palm and coconut oil from third world countries is increasingly being criticised as it is linked to the poor working and living conditions of rural workers. We exclusively use vegetable oils from controlled biological cultivation to obtain the fats necessary for manufacturing soaps. Currently we are working together with the Colombian project Daabon Organic. This project has several certifications such as ECOCERT, FAIR-TRADE and RAINFOREST ALLIANCE.
